Dr. Louis Furlan is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon with a private practice in New York City.
After graduating from Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Furlan completed a residency in ophthalmology at NYU Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Furlan completed a specialized fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Furlan performs the majority of his pediatric eye surgery at the the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. He also is an attending surgeon at the NYU Medical Center
Dr. Furlan regularly employs adjustable and non-adjustable sutures for his patients requiring strabismus surgery.
